I had mine removed from my Drivers License by going back to the DMV office.
I found out from a Registered Nurse, and it was also on TV News, that a person might not be completely dead when they take out organs! They gave a few places where this happened. After that, I will Not be an organ donor.

Well I would hope the person wouldnt be totally dead. The organs have to be fresh.

They do not steal your organs. It's a wonderful thing to do.

I don't want to feel them surgically removing my organs, if I am supposed to be dead. I don't want to feel the pain, if I am not dead. I know the organs have to be fresh, but do you want to take a chance like that?

you cant feel anything when you are so close to death. Even if you do, its only gonna be like half a second.

It only happens after you're declared brain dead.

The only way to have organ donor removed from an ID or license it to have a new one issued.

Well I haven't got my license yet but will it still count on the i.d. even if I dont have it on my license?

Hi. If you don't have a license yet, no worries because you are asked before they snap your photo for your license if you want to be an organ donor. I just added that in. Just get a new ID. Hope this helped. Enjoy your day!

Apologies, I read your comment incorrectly. It is better to be safe than sorry due to the fact how many people are waiting for organs. I would not have any type of identification on my person indicating organ donor if you aren't one. I am not sure if your license would override your ID, probably so, but again, better safe than not wanting to be a donor anymore and they don't abide by your wished Now, I hope this helped. = )
