When did doctors start checking for herpes when you find out your are pregnant? How many years ago?

As far as I know most doctors do a full screening for STD when someone is pregnant, as some of them can cause serious complications if left untreated. My oldest is 14, and my ob-gyn did a screening when I was pregnant with him (so it's been at least that long).

idk really but they can tell everything by blood test...........

My daughter is almost 5 and they did a full STD screening on my wife and I at that time

When I went through nursing school (7 yrs ago) an d when I had my child (3 yrs ago) they were doing then but it depends on where you live, they dr and hospital in which you are attending
