How do I convince my parents to homeschool me?

I keep asking them and they just say no. They do not know what is best for me. I hate public schools. They think I won't have any friends if I do this but I barely have any now. Someone please help me I need to know how to convince them and I need one in Mississippi.

My daughter is in the process of trying to get me to homeschool her also :) I've told her if she shows me she can be disciplined by getting straight As before school gets out for summer she can try homeschooling for 1 semester to see how it goes...

Stay in public school. There are more benefits to that than home school

You can't convince them. But have you considered a compromise? How about a hybrid school? That way they won't have to teach you everything and give you all your assignments. That will come through the school. But you can be home most of the week.

It's ridiculous that both of our answers were deleted on the abortion question. Ask.com is showing bias.

I noticed. Well what was your comment? I went to check it and my answer wasn't there.

You're the first person I've ever come across on ask.com that likes Adventures in Odyssey, I'm a big fan if it too, I listen to it every day.

Just keep asking, and do some research about homeschooling and show them the pros of it. Don't be to pushy or they will get annoyed. I've been home-schooled since 1st grade and I love it. Is one of your reasons for wanting to be home-schooled because Tim Tebow was home-schooled?

It is a fact that just in our public school systems , there are so many cases of depression in middle, and high school students. Also there is a very high rate of BULLYING in our generation now, it's nothing like it was 32 yrs ago when it was going to school. I was a victim, I begged to stay home, I ended up a dropout, due to not being able to deal with what was going on in school.
