Finding the best shoes for running is not easy, and I am not talking about colors! If you are truly a mild pronator, you are supposed to get a 'Stability' pair. But some research suggest not only pronation but you also want to consider your posture and running gait, as well as how your feet land (toe tipping or heel striking). I have neutral/high arch feet, so I don't buy Stability shoes and cannot tell you which shoes might fit well for you. One way is to look online for running shoe stores and check the review whether they have knowledge-able staff. Good running shoe stores should be able to find a decent pair for you. Happy running!
The trick is finding a good running shoe store. If it's a good store, they'll actually take a foot print or watch you walk. Then, they'll hopefully have good suggestions for shoes that will help. You can't shop for running shoes online. You have to try them on, walk around the store, and even try running around the store a bit. Each shoe has different cushioning, so it is a very individualized type experience (so much that I question why shoes are made en masse).
