Why do you think people hate?
(I am sorry if this may be in the wrong place. Science was the closest thing I could find to sociology, at least about people you don't directly know.)
Since I plan on studying sociology later in life, I figured it wouldn't be bad to get an earlier start. I have a few questions on the matter, and if anyone knew a theory, or even on opinion about one or all, I would definitely appreciate it.
1.) Why do people seem to hate more online more then in real life? Others will still get mad or be disappointed, so they aren't really avoiding consequence, are they?
2.) What makes some people so extreme against things that hardly affect them? (For example, a story or game. Why don't they just not play/read it instead of getting in a "flame war" with it's fans?)
3.) Does anyone know a definite reason for why people are like this, or do we only have theories so far?
I have come up with my own theories for these, although I would like to hear what others think on the matter.
Anyhow, please avoid answers like "because they can" or "they just want too". Why do they want too? That's what I would like to get some opinions, or answers, on.
Thanks in advance!
