Is drinking a gallon of water everyday a good or bad thing..

Ok. Obviously ppl do not understand. We are required to drink 10 glasses or 2 litres of water per day.
You can drink more if its hot weather or exercising.
Some ppl have a disorder where they have to drink water too regularly therefore causing a sodium deficiency which lowers there sodium levels dangerously which may cause seizures or even coma. Google ppl.

thats sooooo not a good thing especially if you do it within a day you can get water poisoning and its very likely to kill you

Its not a good thing at all your only supposed to take in about 1-2 cups of water a day
so i would really consider cuuting way back on the water

Answer this question...it depends... a gallon of water weighs 8 pounds, so you don't want to slug it down at once and spend your day in and out of the bathroom.

I read (but it's probably fake)that if you drink to much water it does something to the inside of your body and...kills you.

I remember seeing an episode on "House" where a young adult died from chugging too much water. Too much of anything CAN kill you! All things in moderation is the way to go. If you're so thirsty that you WANT to drink that much, you should see your Dr. and get tested for diabetes.

gallon of water is too much for body. we require only 8-10 glasses of water a day.

Thats much more than you really need to remain hydrated. If you are constantly thirsty it's maybe a good idea to mention this to your doctor. Otherwise a couple of litres of water spread out through the day should be enough to keep you healthy. If you are training hard, a good isotonic drink will hydrate you better than water. Problem here is that most of them are sweet and sticky. I've used H30 Pro and would recommend you check it out. Quick point: a dry mouth (thirst) is the last sign of dehydration. Don't wait until you are thirsty to drink water!
