How do you get rid of the smell of Pine Sol?

I used some an hour ago on the floor in my bedroom under my desk. I didn't mix it with water because I just needed to clean a small spot and used maybe 1/4 of a cup. Is the water used to cut down on the smell? I'm going to open my window tonight so I can hopefully air the room out

You're supposed to mix it with water. It's highly concentrated. LOL. That is why it smells so bad for you, usually the smell is quite enjoyable. Open your window, and put a fan in the window blowing outside. This should help you.

Thanks, I just didn't have anything to dilute it with water (1/4 cup per gallon and nothing to hold a gallon of water). I just needed to clean the floor really bad and couldn't ask for the large bucket since the guy is using it for his trash. I'm hoping to get the other bucket after the laundry detergent is used up (the landlord buys those large buckets of powder detergent) and then I can really use that for the wood floors so they'll finally be clean.

I have this problem all the time since I clean piecemeal if at all. I make a pint or a cup at a time, using a glass container since I don' t trust plastic to rinse well.

@summer and integer, get or re-use a pump spray bottle. Mix the Pine Sol at rate of about 1-10 with water and you'll have it handy for spot cleaning or more!:-)

I would be more comfortable with doing this if I saw it sold commercially. Otherwise I wonder if there's a reason to not use a sprayer.

Why would you worry about using a sprayer? And check the ingredients in most cleaners sold commercially in spray bottles; Water+++! It's just extra chemicals mixed in to stabalize coloration or cloudiness, as people see that and for some reason think there's something wrong with it, or it's just not pleasing to the eye..
It's a cleaner! Who cares what it looks like, as long as it cleans!!:-).

Btw, the only time a sprayer will break down is if you keep using it with Clorox Mix and don't rinse the sprayer nozzle by spraying clear water through after. The clorox will slowly over time break down the plastic in the sprayer tip.

I am probably a bit paranoid. I can not think of any reason they wouldn't sell it. They could charge $1.50 for something that's 90% water, and yet they do not.

Do what cjkenkel said plus you can re-clean the area with just water to help dilute the area.

Wipe the area first with wet cloth, then with White Vinegar. The vinegar will smell sharp for a little while but then dissipate and neutralize the pine smell.:-). Opening window for a while will help speed that up.

Can't use the fan, but definitely will do the rest. I've only got a 6" tower fan that barely keeps me cool in the hot house so it doesn't have very good circulation.

Good luck! And yeah those tower fans ok for space concerns but not much for blowing.:-(.

I forgot all about that stuff, my wife buys some other natural stuff and we also use vinegar/water for some cleaning as well. Amazing what vinegar can do!
