Have any Nursery nurses or any one had a pay rise?

I just wondered if you could tell me in percentage% then I know if it's going in the right direction should I ask for one. Many thanks.

You're a nurse ... and don't have a union contract?

2.5% to 3% annual increase is common to union contract nurses.

Of course, without a contract ... you'll also have to convince your employer that you deserve a raise. (based on your job performance)

I work in childcare. Is it the same do you think?

probably ... it's allegedly to keep up with the annual increase in the cost of living.
