The back splash we purchased for our vanity is bowed can it be bowed back?

We purchased a vanity a sink with the counter top and back splash. The back splash touches the wall on each end and not in the middle. Knowing my house I thought it might be the wall...nope the back splash which is a separate piece is bowed. Can it be heated up or anything to try and bow it back? It is corian (spelling?)

I would simply take the piece back and ask to exchange it. The store will probably just open another package and switch out the pieces.

The problem with trying to fix it yourself is that once you damage it, the store won't exchange it.

I wouldn't try to heat it, unless you have mad skills with a torch. Maybe some weights in the middle while layed flat on concrete. If its not that bad, caulking works wonders.

Possibilities are that it can be bowed back. The process of bowing it back can only be done by a person who is specialized in that field. You need to contact the store from which you purchased the back splash for details.

There is absolutely no way to reduce the bow. Take it back to where you bought it, for a replacement.
