U will c pray to god and he will help
Report as
Well I prayed that a family friend's 2 year old daughter wouldn't die of cancer. God must've forgotten about my prayer because he is too busy judging everybody.

There's a reason for everything

If that is the best plan he can come up with, he doesn't deserve praise.

He can. He chooses to let us do what we want, and make a choice of worshiping him, instead of forcing us.

God orders, I obey, but there are people who opt to go their own way. We own our destiny, and according to what we do, God writes our destiny or so i believe.

I believe your brain has more to do with your "destiny" than any supernatural influence. I don't believe in any pre-written fate either.

Our brains are just an organ in the body.
Report as
Correct. It is the organ in the body where all decisions are made. The variables in a destiny are decisions and environmental happenings. Therefore, the brain will change the outcome of the destiny depending on the decisions it makes.

Well, He gives us free will, but our decisions effect where we will end: heaven or hell. So technically, yes He does.

If you think that a fictional character out of book written by humans can control anything then I guess so.

He gave humans free will. If we reach out to Him He will guide us however.

Jehovah God does not control our destiny. The Bible scriptures state that he created us with free will for us to decide what we would like to do. To tie into that we can think of Adam and Eve. God did not control the fact that they chose to eat from the forbidden fruit and in essence we inherited imperfection from them. Zephaniah 2: 3 urges us to "seek Jehovah, all you meek ones of the earth {...}.Seek righteousness, seek meekness {...}."
Being a loving and just God will he stimulate us to do whats right to receive a reward in the end if he knew beforehand that our destiny was set to fail? The answer to this is quite obvious. A loving God would not do that.
Although Jehovah God has the ability to see well into the future, he created us with free will so we can choose for ourselves what we would like to do. Adam and Eve knew before hand that consuming the forbidden fruit would make them die. The "bad choice" they made has put us in the position we are in now. We have to make choices everyday and wait to see the results. Hence we can safely say that God does not control our destiny rather he encourages us to seek his guidance so we can see what he promises us in the future.

No. You and you alone make your own destiny. I read once that man plans and God laughs. I like to think He has a sense of humor

Ecclesiastes 9:11 tells us that "time and unforeseen occurrence befall us all." This shows that fate does not exist. Often, something happens to a person simply because he is in the right place at the right time, or we might say, in the wrong place at the wrong time. No matter how well-prepared one may be, there are always some unexpected elements that may affect the outcome of an endeavor, and it has nothing to do with fate.
