I think so hun i think its easy to ruin those kind of floors i ruined my kitchen floor by over flowing the kitchen with water lol i left the room and returned back and was suprize i kinda forgot i had the water on i was trying to multi task but ended up epicly failing Lol but have fun be careful be safe dont do anything your parents wouldnt do just kidding :) but do be careful when ur throw parties some people go insane in other peoples houses
Karen!! yes!! the floors get damaged, things get broken, (sometimes even stolen when uninvited guests show-up)people may be drinking(under age) and putting your poor parents in jeopardy of being held legally responsible even sued!! please reconsider, i know its tempting but hardly worth the risk.
They are a much harder flooring than regular hardwood but it depends on how much varnish is on it. the thicker the varnish the easier they will dent. How about making the women take their shoes off, or tell them in advance to wear flats.
Wow! I guess you need to throw this party to relax from all the work you do to support your family, even in this crappy economy!!! All that paying the house payment, utilities, clothes, food, always working to take care of them!!!
Karen, I really hope your poor parents have excellent insurance. If there's trouble due to drinking or drugs, they could lose their house, did you know this? Not to mention broken/stolen items. I'm glad I don't have to see the results.
These floors are expensive to redo if the are scratched and dented. Have some respect for your parents who have worked hard for you to give you a nice home. For get about the party, don't do something you'll regret! THINK!!!
Hmm, just the floors your concerned about? Not spilled drinks, broken windows, disorientated furniture, writing on the walls, ripped out doors, broken mirrors, broken chairs, trash in all the rooms and stolen valuables?
