Well, in my opinion since I'm Christian, God made this world. He brought us to be and shed his blood on a cross for us. Some people don't believe in him but if they don't want to believe in Jesus Christ, we cant force them to. The only way to get to heaven though is to love and believe that Jesus Christ died for us, confess all your sins, and salvation (eternal life with him). We must also spread the word about him and tell everyone else of what he is.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.". If Jesus is correct and He IS God, as He claimed to be, and as Prophecy agreed that He was, and you deny Him, you go to Hell. If He was WRONG, there is no consequence of not believing on Him. You have to come to that belief decision very carefully, for YOU ALONE will be accountable for that decision. Scary thing is, it's all about faith. If I'm wrong for believing in Him, no harm no foul. If you are wrong for NOT believing in Him, no Heaven. Read the New Testament carefully, ask God for wisdom in your decision, then decide. It's up to you.
I just don't see how religion is true. On easter we paint eggs to celebrate the resurrection of jesus. Doesn't make sense. I noticed people that do believe in god and jesus is more violate and people that doesn't believe in any religion live peaceful lives. To me all religion is bull crap. I'm not insulting any religion. Some christian also think we (humans) are the only thing in the universe. They're saying earth is the only place that has people on it. That's bull crap. It's not wrong to not believe in jesus. I can give you a link to who jesus really is if you want me too.
It's not. A lot of people are raised to believe that without the idea of god, you can't be moral. And this is the most untrue thing of all. With the idea of god in your head, you can justify ANYTHING you want to justify. All you have to do is say that god wanted you to do it.
It's your choice. Just as it's my choice to believe. I am happy God saved me and forgives me of my sins. In fact it is the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life. I wish that happiness upon you and others like you but in the end it is your choice. All Christians can do is tell others about our wonderful Holy Savior and His gift to mankind. As they say " you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink, even if he is dying" ( I added the end part lol)
Says who. It's your free will to do what you like or dislike, this is why God has given us a free will,my will is to seek God with all my heart with all my mind and with all my strength I can't live without my Saviour I sure hope you can't live without Him also.
If a person believes in God. If a person believes in sin. And If that person believes that our sin seperates us from the Father for eternity. Then they will see that Jesus is the one who broke this curse. He cleanses a person. So they may coexist with the God who is complete holiness and righteousness. The God who is justice and is the rightful judge of His creation. Jesus makes it possible that a person is able to stand in the glory of God. Our good works cannot beacause they are dirty rags in His sight. A person understanding this, will fall on their knees and give the life that God has given them to Jesus which all things were made through Him and without Him, was not anything made that was made. Using the days that God blesses them with, a person will spend these days bringing glory and honor to the Father because through His grace we have been made clean to live for eternity with Him. That is IF a person believes that.
It's not really wrong, just a belief. I myself am a catholic-agnostic. I've always believed that there is no 'right and wrong' religion, but perhaps all religions are in fact the same, just with different names. for example, the entire religion of islam is based on the line Ishmael (the other son of abraham to Helga) who is also mentioned in the bible. when you think about it, there is no religion that will actually justify, condone, or god forbid encourage violence. Rather, these are justified/condoned/encouraged by misguided followers of religions.
