If a recipe calls for 1 can milk. Should I use evaporated or sweet condensed ?

it's a no bake cheesecake recipe it's so sweet already I wasn't shure...

K thanx this recipe is really strange it also says "beat milk until like whipped cream" it was from my greatgrandma on a card typed in purple ink.

Canned. The sweet condensed is more for candy, desserts, etc

Depends what you are making, evaporated is a lot more liquid y than condensed, condensed is thick and very sweet.

Oops, totally missed that; cheesecake! in that case, I would use evaporated, condensed is way too sweet.

Unless the recipe specifically says sweetened condensed, it wants you to use evaporated milk.
