What is the best way to let go of negative words that are said to you, that aren't true?
someone (I won't get detailed as to who, just to keep it impartial,) likes to tell me how I feel, and put me down. they tell me how I feel, and they basically just speak as if they know my head and it irks me. And the accusations, negative words, and put downs, stay in my mind. I don't just brush them off like I should. almost as though there is an "echo chamber" in my head and I absolutely HATE it. How can I stop this? thanks. (idk if this even made sense...)
