I found out I have ankle tenosynovitis,I'm going to physical therapy, should I wrap it in an ace bandage, or put something on it?

I'm gonna do some forms of physical therapy, but I don't know if I should wrap it or put something on it, to keep my ankle from moving.

Ask a doctor first before if you do something you haven't asked about yet you might brake something in your body and that will be bad..... VERY BAD!

Well since I'm not going back to the doctor til' April 26, I don't know if I should wear an ace bandage until I go to physical therapy. What do you think? I'll probably go to the physical therapist this week.

I recommend going to a doctor before you try all different wraps and stuff but if you know how to wrap properly I would use a ace bandage for now

Well yeah I just meant for the time being until I go to physical therapy, so I can stay off of it, and provide protection so I don't injure my foot anymore than it already is.

Yes you can wrap it with a ace bandage to reduce the pain , swelling and limit range of motion.
