Will neutering my american bull dog make him less aggressive?
he is 2 and a half years old, very large over 100 pounds. i have 2 boston terriers(small dogs) leo,the bull dog, has never been aggressive with them before now he growls if they have a toy he wants or if they are on the bed and he wants to get up too. also, he growled at my 10 year old nephew a couple weeks back(and snapped, but didnt actually bite) what is happening to poor leo, is he growing mean? he has no signs of illness ,eats like a beast and runs wild all day. i would take him to the vets just the same ,however the vets is one place he has always become aggressive and it is quite a production just getting him there(tranquilizer, muzzles ect>),i heard that neutering a male dog calms them down and reduces aggressive behavior is this true? my 2 bostons are neutered( a term of the agreement from the rescues) i dont want to neuter leo until he is 3 because he is still growing ,but i will do it sooner if i have to.
