Hi, again, Tiffany. Yes, honey, they do. They shouldn't yell at their kids; that's a given. But we all have our bad days and times where we just "lose it." And, unfortunately, a lot of times, the kids may not even be the reason the parents are actually yelling. It may be stress from something else. Have you ever heard the old saying, "You hurt the ones you love"? It shouldn't be true, but unfortunately we take things out sometimes on the ones we love the most.
It's usually because they love you that they yell. They don't want to see you get burned or hurt, getting into trouble. Or your future damaged. And it's usually not you that makes your parents mad, but rather the things you've done. Big difference. Try to remember that the next time they explode.
