Jesus the Christ is Lord...God in human form. He is eternal and has always existed. He was there in the beginning of creation of heaven and earth, of man and woman--along with God the Father and God the Spirit was God the Son. That is why He is worthy of our worship...why He said He is the Way, the Truth, the Life...why He said He is the resurrection and the life...why death could not keep Him in the grave...because He is God. The Bible explains this in many places. "For by Him were all things created, in heaven and in earth...all things were created by Him and for Him." "In the beginning was the Word...Word was God...the Word became flesh and lived among us."
John 1 says that Jesus was God(the Trinity) .....Jesus was with God at creation ..... 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

According to Christian mythology Jesus is part of the three person God in one purpose, so yes in the biblical realm of things, yes he did create everything, including man. John 1:1-3 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. (NASB) And God had to have been talking to his Co-Gods when he said: Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let US make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness;...... (NASB)
John 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
So there is nothing that was made that didn't involve Jesus/The Word being there. This verse alone answers your question because the universe, angels and men were made and Jesus was present when they were created.
Muslims respect and revere Jesus. They consider him one of the greatest of God?s messengers to mankind. The Quran confirms his virgin birth, and a chapter of the Quran is entitled Mary. The Quran describes the birth of Jesus as follows:
(Remember) when the angels said, ?O Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him (God), whose name is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, revered in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (to God). He will speak to the people from his cradle and as a man, and he is of the righteous.? She said, ?My Lord, how can I have a child when no mortal has touched me?? He said, ?So (it will be). God creates what He wills. If He decrees a thing, He says to it only, ?Be!? and it is.? Jesus was born miraculously by the command of God, the same command that had brought Adam into being with neither a father nor a mother. God has said: The case of Jesus with God is like the case of Adam. He created him from dust, and then He said to him, ?Be!? and he came into being. During his prophetic mission, Jesus performed many miracles. God tells us that Jesus said: ?I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. I make for you the shape of a bird out of clay, I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God?s permission. I heal the blind from birth and the leper. And I bring the dead to life by God?s permission. And I tell you what you eat and what you store in your houses....? Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified. It was the plan of Jesus? enemies to crucify him, but God saved him and raised him up to Him. And the likeness of Jesus was put over another man. Jesus? enemies took this man and crucified him, thinking that he was Jesus. God has said: ...They said, ?We killed the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of God.? They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but the likeness of him was put on another man (and they killed that man)... Neither Muhammad nor Jesus came to change the basic doctrine of the belief in one God, brought by earlier prophets, but rather to confirm and renew it.
Jesus was actually God's first creation. Jesus existed long before humans. At Colossians 1:15-17 it says this referring to Jesus, "The firstborn of all creation; because by means of him all other things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible...Also, he is before all other things and by means of him all other things were made to exist."
Jesus was a spiritual creature living in heaven before his father, Jehovah, transferred his life to the womb of a Jewish virgin. After his death and resurrection, he returned to heaven. Colossians 1:15-17 says that Jesus was the firstborn of all creation, and that through him all things were created. Proverbs 8:30 calls him the "master worker." I guess you can compare Jesus to the builder or contractor, and his father to the architect.
I am sorry but I don't know how you came to that conclusion that people existed before Jesus? " Then God said, "Let us make a man"---someone like ourselves ,' to be master of all life upon the earth and in the skies and in the seas," (Genesis 1:26 )Living Bible Checked this verse out in 10 different Bible's says "Let us make a man" saying that their were two. Who was the other spirit creature that helped make man? ( Colossians 1:15 ) "Christ is the exact likeness if the unseen God. He existed before God made anything at all, and in fact , Christ himself is the Creator who made everything in heaven and earth." (Living Bible)
