IRS says it deposited my refund 10 days ago to my bank.. how can they direct deposit with no routing number or account number

Is your refund in there? If not go to the place where you had your taxes done to find the steps that need to be taken to get your refund.

If you didn't give them a routing number, they have obviously placed it into a wrong account. I have always had mine direct deposited, and I HAD to supply my account information/routing number. You need contact whoever did your taxes and find out what they used.
IRS may know everything, but one thing they don't do, is find the routing number for you. It's up to you to give them the information. If it isn't in the bank, start with the tax person, and then call the IRS and tell them you have not received it.
There have been cases where somebody doing taxes had another persons refund put into THEIR account. It's called theft.
