In Gods word the bible John 5:28,29 states: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgement." It would be wise though to heed Jehovah's advice to take in knowledge now of Him the only true God and of the one whom he sent forth Jesus Christ.(John 17:3) Only Jehovah knows who he wil resurrect so doing what He asks now would be in our best interest. The resurrection hope after death. "All your life you will sweat to master it, until your dying day. Then you will return to the ground from which you came. For you were made from the ground, and to the ground you will return." ( Genesis 3:19 ) Living Bible " And I believe, just as these men do, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the ungodly." Acts 24:15. (Living Bible) Some have already quoted Bible scriptures to support the resurrection of both the godly and the ungodly as the scripture said. This is not my option, I will take my chances with what the Bible says to be true. Hope this helps the person that asked the question.
Some have quoted Acts 24:15 which speaks of the resurrection of both righteous and unrighteous. That is truly undeserved kindness on the part of our heavenly Father to allow for even those who did not accept him during their lifetime to have a second chance at having a relationship with him. The Bible speaks of a great crowd that will survive to live forever on a paradise earth, and millions will be resurrected to live on earth.
As for what happens to a person when they die, God told Adam at the time he sinned "For dust you are and to dust you will return." (Genesis 3:19) There is no soul or spirit that survives the death of the human body. When a person dies, they simply cease to exist, their brain stops functioning. Their only hope is that of the resurrection back to life, a large number to be resurrected to live on earth and a smaller number will live again to serve as kings and priests in God's heavenly kingdom.
What happens to a person after death with no religion?; nothing no different then what happens to us with a religion or faith. That person will cease to exist. According to Eccl. 9:65 - ) "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten."
There is no such doctrine or teaching of a "hellfire" in the Bible. - The person no longer exist. It is up to Almighty God to determine if he will be resurrected to life on earth (Paradise) or if he has the Heavenly Hope of being resurrected right away to reign with Jesus Christ in Heaven. -Rev. 7:1 -And I heard the number of those who were sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel."
Those who have not come to know Almighty God, Jehovah is better off then those that have come to know him and refuse to honor him accordingly. Jehovah God is not a God to be "Mocked." (Galatians 6:7,8) - "Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked...
