How can I lose some weight so I'm not so much over weight and in a short period of time?
Don't feel obligated to eat more than you should when people say to. It's your body, your health.Go for fairly long walks - great walking uphill. (You don't need to overdo your exercise if you feel you are not in shape, but exorcise is very important, and walking is a great way to start.)Cut down on the junk food (including takeout). Once a week is alright, but still do not overdose.When eating meals, do not eat until your full. Eat until you're comfortable.Have no more than one glass of soda a day. (Keep a careful watch for those dangerous free refills at restaurants. They now come without the approval.)

10 min of plank a day (not all at once) 1000 jumping jacks (not all at once) or do what I do run 8-10 miles a week
I could get u some pills which burn fat
drink a lot of water, not so much you die from it, but a good amount
Drink couple bottles of water till you feel kinda full every time before you eat.
