Well in my opinion yes because I have noticed that many parents have been feeling more and more sympathetic towards their kids than past generations. Back then even teachers were allowed to hit you and parents wouldn't do a thing
I bet so. *acts like old geezer* back in MY day, we didn't have no cell phone or gideo vames. We had BOARD games. And when we disobeyed our parents, we got our butts whooped for it...literally....and then some.
I don't think so. I think they're are a lot of parents that have that authority and discipline for their children, but its the kids that are being rebellious. In some cases, they're are those that have been over disciplined and refuse to do the same with their children...
So some can be strict, and some parents aren't as much.
This generation, my generation is full of appalling wenches and hooligans. Therefore, I'm assuming most parents are slacking on their part. They need to beat some sense into their uneducated children. I can honestly say my generation appalls me because their are many children into drugs, sex, and gangs. Committing truancy and containing narcotics it looked at as "cool" to the majority of ignorant punks who will get no where in life.
Yes that is the TRUTH. I am 59 yrs old man, I have seen my as well other parents who were strict and very strict, and conditions were favorable at that time. but now if parents even say some harsh words or scold their kids or slap they (kids) threaten their parents with dire consequences of police complaints and child abuse. This has spoiled many kids and they are loosing basic manners and family etiquette, this is ruining joint family values. In my olden days people had many kids and parents could controll all of them but now a days parents have one or two kids and their uncontrolled love is spoiling them.
