I would think a pound of muscle , but I'm just guessing here , using common sense ! Sometimes as we get a little older , the fat doesn't burn off as fast , or at all ! Usually , if I work out as much as I am able , it's eating right that helps the most ! Lots of fibre and fruit and minimal dairy and meat products work the best for me ! Last time I went to to the Doc in Jan . , I was 5 pounds over weight . I lost that just by cleaning up my diet ! You may be strengthening up your muscles and gaining some bulk that way ! Give it time , you'll see or feel the difference !

Neither. They both weigh one pound, but the muscle looks a whole lot better on you. If you are building muscle that puts weight on but since you lose calories with all the exercise, that evens it out pretty much. If you try jogging or swimming you'll lose weight.
The weight is the same, the mass is different. To understand the difference let me ask you this: if I were to stand on a ladder 10' above you with two sacks, one containing 50 lbs of iron, and the other contained 50 lbs of feathers, which one would you rather I drop on your head?
A pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat. In health class we were taught not to lose hope if we were working out and eating right but the scale wasn't moving, because you're losing fat but gaining muscle.
