How do you slide your foot while doing crossovers? (figure/ice skating)
I've always loved ice skating and it's about time I'm taking it seriously. I want to learn how to do a crossover, forward and backwards. I can already pick up my foot and place it over the other and back, a very basic and simple crossover. But, I want to be more professional and learn to slide my foot over. (I'm going to take lessons in about a month, where they only teach you to pick your foot up.) When I try to slide it over, it won't slide, it just pushes off. Any tips or advice? Thanks in advance!
