What are some ways to improve my balance?

stand on a couch cushion on the floor on one foot. slowly tap to the side, to the front, and to the back with the other foot while holding your balance. try to stretch your leg as far as you can during the taps. I did this as an exercise at physical therapy for my ankle, and after six weeks of doing it once a week I noticed significant improvement. you can and should do it more often though :)

Take ballet and gymnastics... This helped me a lot.
