A GOOD movie. Something thats gotten good reviews because if the movie was good then you'll more likely remember the date. Nothing really romantic since its the first date. Do some research on movies and see which ones got the best reviews.

never go on a first date to the movies, go to a museum or other attraction so it gives you two alot of interesting things to talk about. i'm from the great little state of Connecticut and i have taken a few first dates to see the Uss Nautilus the worlds first nuclear submarine. they all LOVED it.....................< super genius :)
A good movie would probably be a children's comedy. This isn't too intimate, to make you feel awkward if you haven't kissed yet, it isn't too scary... maybe for a first date if you don't want to feel awkward go in a group to have fun with your friends and the guy/girl you like.
But it's always good to have a good laugh with a guy/girl you really like so they can really see how great you are.
Oh my goodness, you have to have a comedy!! those are the best ice breakers when it comes to dates! (plus they will be able to compliment your smile!) I would suggest seeing Identity Thief because it is absolutely hilarious!! Good Luck!! :)

you should not go to watch movie on first date you should pay attention to each other you must take a quite romantic and peaceful dinner and you should go to the beach and if you have decided fully that u will go to watch movie than you should watch a romantic movie like the troy and love stories etc. but if you wanna flirt with her than you must watch a too horror movies because if she will get a little scare she will hold your hand curiously and u can impress her by be with her and get a beautiful kiss after the movie.....
Depends if you want a second date :P. If no then pick the WORST or most offensive movie you can find and problem gone ;]. If you want a 2nd date then you should have been paying attention when they told you things about them. If you did listen get a movie that is in a genre they like. If you go with the scary movie idea like mikababy said and your date is one to scare easy you might be the one with your should being grabbed or hidden behind.
I prefer MILD scary movies, funny movies, etc. I do not recommend romantic movies for first dates because ugh... it gives the chills!! You might end up looking away from the screen and your date might get the chills and sweat too!! Hoped this helped!! :)
