How can you overcome social anxiety? Please help, thank you!
I really only recently noticed I have social anxiety and it started when I was in my late freshman year(highschool). Before that I was completely comfortable and I just had fun talking to people I didn't know that well, but now I feel like I'm constantly being judged for every single comment I make or anything... I want to just have fun, be myself and open up to people to make new friends, but I find myself being awkward in social situations. I also find myself trying to avoid hanging out with people I don't know that well because I'm scared I'll be awkward and weird around them and embarrass myself. I also noticed it's really only with people I think are "cooler" than me lol or older.. younger people and people I know better I'm much more relaxed. What do I do?
