Why does your breath stink in the morning?

it's disgusting!!!!

Report as

Because of different factors.
But one that is often neglected and is responsible for bad breath more than the teeth is your tongue. Particles of food go in its 'pits' and go bad. So, the solution is to brush your tongue smoothly as well when you're brushing your teeth.

It is just morning breath because all the germs and food and stuff are still stick on your teeth, and they rot and decompose during the night, and what you are smelling is the rotten food. gross.

Food residue in the mouth will decay. This can be avoided by brushing your teeth, flossing in between your teeth, and rinsing with mouthwash. Try to leave as little food in your mouth as possible. Aside from avoiding bad breath, this will also protect you from tooth decay and gum disease. This is important.

diet can cause being too acidic. studies claim blood is about 7.4ph alkaline. saliva & urine tested on litmus paper 8 hours after one eats, should read 7.2ph alkaline, in a 2 week testing period. under 7.0ph that is neutral is acidic, saliva isn't complimenting their blood anymore. pathogens such as; parasites, bad bacteria, viruses, funguses are able to make their habitat in intestinal tract. food leaves the acidic stomach acids, the upper & lower intestinal tract need to remain alkaline from the foods one eats. animal products after the body removes the nutrients leaves an acidic ash, while after nutrients removed from plants, an alkaline ash is left over. more food is processed the more acidic it becomes, examples: processed sugar, flour. cooked foods become more acidic is claimed. prove everything, its the only body one has. good refreshing breath in the morning comes from enough of an only raw organic diet of fresh fruit, nuts & vegetables. decades of improper diet, decades it takes to restore to normal, refreshing morning breath. ones drinking water needs to be neutral or slightly alkaline. bottled water claims up to 10.0ph.

It's because germs are Pooping inside your mouth, Brush 2-3 times DAILY with 3D Clear colgate toothpaste. Germs excrete strong scents and the bad breath majorly come from the food and bacteria in your mouth. I PERSONALLY suggest using 3D Clear Colgate toothpaste, it WILL get rid of that Crud and Bacteria in your mouth.

Because there is millions of bacteria in your mouth. They feed off the food that is left in your teeth and gums. So, every organism has to get rid of what they ate so they are going to the bathroom in your mouth. So, it is very important to floss and brush before you go to bed and brush your tongue too. Colgate Total toothpaste is awesome. Remember, flossing is more important than brushing.

Mostly lactose intolerance, lack of brushing the tongue or lack of digestive enzymes in the stomach. But sometimes garlic breath w/o eating garlic, can be a sign of diabetes. Take care.

we sleep for long hours and how mouth are either opened of close. When it is open dust enters and this dust carries micro-organisms and also when how mouths are close the bacterias in our mouth gets active and multiply because of the heat so when we wake it has to stink

If you don't brush well then your breath can stink because food gets stuck in pits of your tongue and they go bad. Also, there really isn't a thing called 'naturally bad breath.' If you usually have bad breath, it is most likely because 1.) you don't brush well and 2.) you eat really stinky stuff, like garlic!

well its because you sleep with your mouth open and bacteria automatically goes to that spot because its warm and moist. you can help by brushing your teeth at night, and then when you get up in the morning brush your teeth really well, and your tongue.

Hi, there are a number of reason that cause you to have bad breath, especially in the morning. While we are asleep there is bacteria that grows in the small crevices in between the gums and the back of the throat. In most cases this is known as "Halitosis" The bacteria growth in the mouth releases sulfur compounds that make your breath smell.

In any case if it is happening frequently then you might have a case of Tonsillitis or Tonsil-Stones. This is occurs when bacteria and other materials, including dead cells and mucus become trapped in the crevices of the tonsils and calcify. If you feel like there is something in the back of your throat the you might have Tonsil-Stones.

No worries though, there are many ways to effectively remedy this. I recommend using Grapefruit Seed Extract. This stuff works wonders. Here's a link to it. http://amzn.to/10Uwcnk This is cheap and will get the job done. In the event it's not Tonsil-Stones then until you have it under control I suggest you carry a small bottle of mouthwash with you, if needed.

We get morning breath because we sleep for about 8-10 hours which means we don't consume any food in our sleep obviously. So basically if you notice, after not eating for a certain time on a regular day, watch how your breath starts to stink up. Yea I know morning breath is terrible, number one reason why I hate waking up next to a girl I met at a club, so I simply just get out before she opens her mouth lol bye(:
