Are there methods of generating electricity other than electromagnetic induction?
(with the exception of solar panels and the like)

Almost all commercial electricity generation is achieved through electromagnetic induction. Only nuclear plants have a different mode of electricity generation, but all others use the same basics. Read on about this from www.missouripermaculture.com/2011/01/generating-your-own-electricity.html.
A different way to produce electricity other than induction, is the chemical reaction. This happens in every battery, or in fuel cells. Else, there is the photo-electric process, but you know that, don't you.
