It depends on what you want. Utility and customization are the most important to me so I go with Android. With Android you also have the option of buying more than just one phone. iOS is very simple and easy to use, it has a lot of great developer support and for previous Apple product users it syncs well to those devices. iOS is great for someone who basically has one goal in mind when they buy their phone. It's jus not very flexible and you have to use Apple's solutions for everything which makes things complicated when Apple doesn't want you to do it. It's just depend on what you want and/or need.
