Dose "Kick at a fun" close to "play for fun"

I found the following sentence in Macmillan English Dictionary at page 30.
"He leapt into the crowd,aiming a kick at a fun".
Also,I find the Macmillan English Dictionary is a perfect dictionary.though i met many trouble on my way to learn it.can you give me some Tips for me,a native Chinese speaker.

I think its realy close meaning. LoL I get in trouble with thoes hard English phrases too

I think it is spelled wrong. It probably meant he aimed a kick at a fan, not a fun.

Try the Oxford English Dictionary if you have access through school website. They have better history and examples.
