Wow, that is a big one! But, think of all the prep the Docs and Nurses who are doing this surgery have gone through. Focus on the good success rates and the very good chances you'll have of not having seizures after.. There is no way you'll feel totally calm, that just doesn't happen very often with anyone going through a procedure, but by focusing on the good results and imagining yourself just fine after, you can take some of the edge off. Good luck!:-).
I had to get my gal blader out in 08 when I was 2 months prego with my son, before I went under I cleared my mind of every thing. Its hard but potable, Like think bout when you wake up after its done what are you going to buy at the store your 1st time out. or what do you think you will wear as this NEW women. Also remember God has a plain for you! that's a BIG one to remember and Just think of things after GOOD things don't think of whats happening when or before it happens... Take care and the BEST of luck.... You better let us know how your doing.... :D
Your doctor and the nurses will walk you through it. You won't feel anything but a prick and peace and calmness. You will be awake through the surgery but feel nothing as the brain has no nerves that cause pain. Good luck and I hope you surgery stops the seizures. Keep in touch
The doctor is there to help you. He woke up that morning, hoping to make you better. If you have questions, don't be scared to ask people around you and don't be scared to question what they are doing. Good luck.
