Which fuse do you replace for the dome and tail lights for a 1986 S/10 chevy?Thanks!Moparx2

Shorted the hot wire to a ground, now dome lights won't work
Replaced bulb, still no luck
Need to know which fuse to change and location in the fuse panel for fuse

Most GM vehicles had a separate fuse marked dome/ accy. Get a test light and test ALL of the fuses, I'll guarantee you'll find it. It's always located on/in the fuse box.

Pull the bulbs out, turn the lights on, if the bulbs are ok take a test light and see if there is power to the socket. If there IS power, make sure connection is not collasped in socket, also check the bulb to make sure the contact is not wore down. If there is NO power to the socket. Use the test light to trace the wire back till you find the problem. I have had this problem in the past and have fixed wires-replaced bulbs-replaced sockets. This is not a hard problem to solve and takes very little time.
Have owned 5 1985 & 1986 S-10 models
