Why is pineapple called a "pineapple?"
It reminds me a little bit of pine trees, but I'm just weird like that. :o
Half pinecone, half apple
Because, that's it's name.
A stupid reason but it resembles a pine cone.
cause it was originaly called pineapple
that's actually a really good question......
Because it looks like a pine cone on the out side and some thing about an apple on the inside
Because the word pine is kind of a tree and its form like a tree and it taste like apple
That is it's original name because it was something to do with their reproductive organs from a conifer tree given to them by European explorers and also for their resemblance to pine cones with their hard petals....
