Is it healthier eating broccoli and carrots raw or steamed?
Eating carrots or broccoli raw or steamed is a matter of preference. When vegetables are steamed and not submerged in water and boiled they retain the same nutrient content. I enjoy carrots both ways however, I prefer to steam broccoli.
Nutrients are removed when cooked, but steaming does that the least.
Vegetables in the raw form are best cause all the nutrients are consumed in its raw state. It's starts loosing nutrient value at 150 degrees and up
