How to wean a 6 Month old?

My son will be 6 months on the 20th and i have BF him the whole time, my cut off is 6 months. I have already introduced cereal at night before his bath and bed. Any tips, advice or opinions on how to start weaning him and introducing solids? Thank you!

Start by making a schedule that will introduce the baby to food. Introduce the baby with mashed food. You can give them a wide variety of foods including fruits, vegetables, rice and pasta. Just start to give him some milk from your breast, but in a bottle. Then start to give him formula. By the way, you will bond with your child more by breast feeding. The way you hold the baby while BFing releases a hormone that makes you care for whatever you're holding, and the same thing happens to the child being held, they feel that care and love and are more attached to that person. You don't want them to love a bottle more than you, do you?

My baby stops the BF at 9 months, when I started giving him my milk with a bottle. Have you tried that?
