Of course not. The only species where the male has the offspring is the seahorse (or at least that I know of).

The male sea horse does not have offspring :P the female produces the eggs, and then the male carries them in his "pouch", and they hatch inside, and then come out, so it looks like he's giving birth, when he in fact is not.
Report as
Technically, frogs can too!
Report as
males can't give birth Josh! :P
Report as
Some species of frogs will spontaneously change s3x, from female to male, in a single s3x environment.
I have learned more from Hollywood than in school, sad me =(, lol

yep, you were right, it sounds stupid. No males cannot have babies, whether they are ducks or humans, this principle remains the same.

Please don't buy six ducks and keep them as pets in the city. You just don't sound like you're ready. I don't think the ducks are ready for city life either. Please give this plan a bit more thought.

I was actually planning on keeping them all in a big barn we have in the backyard. We just got it and its 2 storys.I would keep the on the bottem floor of course because there hand sized just babys. When I cant handle them anymore I will take them to the lake I live near and let them go. I also have a baby pool in the backyard which I would let them bathe or play in. Would also have to be sure to buy food and keep them under light. I know how to take care of them

The females only. The female ducks lay the eggs. They won't have babies if you don't let them sit on the eggs :) I also agree with neighborlady. farm animals shouldn't be stuck in the city.

so for a female duck to have babys would they really have to have a male around?
Report as
Yes. You must have a male duck to fertilize the eggs. Other wise you can eat the eggs before she sits on them. Even if there virtualized you can eat them right after there laid :)
Report as
I meant fertilized. Sorry type error :P
