What is the best way to store comic books?

I want to keep my comics in mint condition for the future and my cabinet bends some of them and will on occasion crease them but only very little any suggestions on how to keep them safe. Drawer, bins, tall shelves, in a hole in my backyard? I also handle them with care so on occasion i want to be able to take them and read them.

Buy a product called "space bag".You can purchase them at Walgreens, Walmart, CVS and online. Put all your comic books in the bag and suck the air out with a vacuum. You can store the bag anywhere because it will be flat as a pancake and if you pack the bag correctly, your comic books will not suffer any damage. If you need access to a comic, just unzip the bag and when you are finished with it, return to the bag and repeat process. These bags will not allow moisture, dust or any other elements inside.

You are most welcome. You will be very happy with the product and how the bag will keep your comic books in mint condition. Enjoy your weekend.

Don't stick them in somewhere too confined. The moisture from the air could ruin them. I've had experience :|

An air tight safe might be your best bet.though I'm not a comic collector type so a pro may need go be consulted to get better thoughts on that matter

You'll need to keep your comics as dry as possible in a large enough plastic zip lock bag placed in an airtight container like a large enough metal biscuit tin type container. Store the container in a part of the house that is also dry; attics are great.. but if you don't have an attic, the basement will do.... No basement, then off the floor on a shelf in a clothes closet works fine ...Of course if you live in an area where its really very humid put the metal container in a seal-able plastic bag too. Good luck. Hope your comic book 'time capsule' works out just fine ;-)
