How to take care of a pulled hamstring?

I pulled my hamstring a couple weeks go and I do not know how to take care of it. I need it to heal so I can dance. I been putting on ice packs but it has not seemed like it has been doing any thing yet. Please help. Thank you.

Keep it warm and rest it a lot, but if you can you need to get it moving and exercising, unless it hurts too much, in which case stop straight away. I know that sounds counter-intuitive, but so is life.

Biofreeze freezes the pain. You can just try usng that until you get an appointment with a chiropractor.

Keep icing it. Ice baths work really good because they get blood flow to the whole leg not just the middle of the hamstring. Keeping off of it will help so there's not any stress on it for quicker healing. Also, do not try to stretch it until it is healed because then your just pulling it more.

Everything the other members posted as well as taking a hot bath in Epsom salt. Feel better.
