Ways to prevent different common illnesses?

My family has a few BIG things that are in our genetics, and I don't want any of um!

Cancer

diabeties

polups (practically everywhere)

heart attack

high blood pressure

colon cancer

angina

so please list stuff (foods, drinks) to prevent these thanks!

Hmm well it's true that genetics can play a large part, but you can still do things to better your chances for good health.
Eat fresh, whole, unpackaged foods. Cooking for yourself allows you to limit the amount if salt and fat you're eating. Grill or bake instead of fry. Use olive oil instead of butter. Eat tomato sauces instead of cream sauces. Choose water instead of soda and juice. Don't smoke. Limit booze intake. Don't get overweight. Exercise often. Choose fish or chicken over beef and pork, or better yet, become a vegetarian.

there is no way to prevent it from happening if it's in your genetics. sorry, i hope this helps you. :l
