How many years does it take to get your law degree?

I was wondering because that is the degree I want to get..:/

Depending on the program you participate in, it is typically 4 years for a pre-law Bachelor's degree and then another 2 to 3 years (or more based on your pacing) for the J.D.

Then you have to pass the Bar for which ever state or states you plan on being a lawyer in (since you seem to be in the US)
