There is no water going into the ice maker but the water in the door still works. Is the actuator not working?
That happened to me and I found the water feeding tube was frozen. I just used a hair dryer, blowing on the tube and it thawed out in less than a minute. No problems since.
You need to have the actuator tested. You should also check the other parts that enhance the functionality of an ice maker. It has many electrical movements that need to be monitored.
