I live in New York and own a house with the shared driveway but my neighbors do not want to share the driveway with us.

Every time when I or any member of my family park the car in driveway my neighbor get angry, he is yelling and threatening us. He always block the exit from the driveway so every time we have to call the police to make him to pull over his car. On December 2012 he was threatening us again, we call the police and made a police report for threatening us. Sins that time I didn't park my car in driveway anymore because I'm afraid of him and he's using the driveway all the time .Can somebody tell me what to do, please?

You should contact a lawyer who will help you file a case. If the driveway is meant to be shared, then your neighbor should be willing to do so. However, if things have gotten out of hard, you should let the law take care of it.

Bully behaviour for sure.

You need to hire a lawyer and get the property line defined.

Once that has been done, you need to put a fence along it so they cannot park on your side of the driveway and vice-versa.

Shared drive by law belongs to both. If he keeps harassing you, you can take him to small claims court or charge him with threats and or harassment

Check the documents you got when you bought your house. There should be something in them that talks about right of ways. If you have a right of way or easement to use the driveway, you are legally entitled to use it. The best solution would be to check with a property attorney and see if you need to get an order from the court for your neighbor to stay off of your side of the driveway, and cease and desist harassing you when you exercise your right to use it. You do not have to put up with this, that man is a bully.

Just sell up and move. Your neighbour's actions are escalating and the police aren't doing anything.
