Is it okay to let my guinea pigs eat off of a raise surface (so it is bending its upper back)?

I recently got this new food holder, and it's raised up, so they have to get on their hind legs, and bed their upper back/ neck. I just wanted to make sure that was okay. Thanks!

It is not appropriate for the guinea pigs to feed when in this position. The food holder is supposed to be lower so that the pigs can stand on their fours when feeding. Consider having it replaced.

no, thats not natural and I think it can lead to back problems. just put their food on the cage floor or get a bowl

Nope. In the wild (yes, there are still wild guinea pigs) they graze off the ground. That's the position they are naturally in.

It's not to good you may want to place it close to the ground so you little friend can drink and eat
