Most scientists believe that the Earth was formed though a process called accretion. Shortly after the formation of the sun, orbiting rocky objects collided and compressed together forming planets. But.. overall god made it.
God created the earth ... He created it in a swirling accretion disk of gas and dust, over millions of years, the bits of dust began to stick together, gravity pulled them into each other and they formed into sand and the sand came together and formed pebbles, the pebbles clumped together and became stones, the stones drew in more pebbles and became rocks, the rocks became boulders and so on, until the biggest one started pulling in the others through gravity. Eventually it sucked up all the other material and grew into a giant molten sphere of rock.
came on here and everyone says god, i personally believe that lots of tiny bits of space dust slammed together in space gradually getting bigger and bigger which increases its gravity to suck in larger objects and because the fact its rotating it became spherical as we know it. and of course it orbiting the sun cause of the suns gravity. but its just what you believe in. science isn't a definitive answer, its just us as humans fitting things together in the most likely way it happened.
