Trying to write an author paper in Steinbeck, how can I connect Of Mice and Men to The Moon is Down?

I can't think of any similar thesis'/motifs or symbols or anything like that. The only thing I've come up with is loneliness but I don't think that's strong enough for an author paper.

Wow! This is a tough one... I mean that in a good way :) I would try searching under biography of Steinbeck first. Wiki normally has a pretty well rounded "idea." Not like Britannica, but it does have facts and opinions. You could also try doing a quick comparison of the two books. Maybe: cliff notes of Mice and Men then cliff notes of The Moon is Down. See if you can draw a similarity there. When you go to cliff notes, they give footnotes. There you can see their references and maybe pull information that way. Good Luck! It sounds like a brainy topic/subject and you are going to find your answers. I wish you the best :)

Read online notes for each. Look for common words.

Maybe there aren't any... evidence comes first before conclusion.
