What is -y+y?

I'm guessing it's 0 or no answer, because if you take the variables away, it ends up being -1+1 and that's 0, but because it is variables I'm guessing there is no actual solution.... Just making sure!

Report as

-y + y = y (-1 + 1) = y (0) = 0

The answer is zero. y is a variable, but in this equation it represents the same number.
