No mankind has taken over, destroying the world to a great extent in some places. We rob the earth of its minerals & salts to make money. We cut down Forrest's without regrowing. It is only now when problems are great that we are trying to make amends but in some areas I think we have left our run too late. Replacing what we take should have been common sense but at the time I think the $ signs distracted us from giving back from whence we took. I'm not a greenie as such but I do believe in only using what you need. I believe we should have planned to leave our future descendants more than what they will inherit from us.
The purpose of mankind has been defined. I defined it... I know that sounds ridiculous but it really took a whole lot of time and research to define it. The purpose of our lives is to create ever-increasing happiness and prosperity for all life and existence in order to bring meaning, beauty and glory to this universe of matter and space. We are to become rich in all things, including love, peace, knowledge, happiness, finances, and much more, and we are to help others to become rich in all of these things. Our happiness and prosperity increases as we make life better for ourselves and others. We are to help other people, help animals, help the planet, and make life full and rich in all things for all life.
The pot does not define its purpose; that is the prerogative of the pot maker. Likewise, if the purpose is to contain liquid, it is up to the pot maker to put costly perfume, common oil or wine in some, and water or air in another. We are not all created alike, but we all have a purpose, and our purpose may not be exactly the same either; the commonality is found in the pot maker, for we are all alike to Him.
God tells us that we are to love The Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, body and strength. And to love your neighbor as yourself. He also gave us the Great Commission: To go preach the Gospel, baptising the in the name of the Father, son and Holy Spirit!
