Do women and men share equal rights in america today

Report as

Since the first two people did such an abysmal job of answering your question (I have yet to see a worthwhile answer from anyone with "swag" in their name), let me try. Women and men technically share equal RIGHTS, but rights alone don't make for equality. Women still, on average, make less money than men for the same jobs, are less likely to be at the top of most professions than men, and are treated very unfairly in the media. And they are STILL constantly being guilt tripped for their choices regarding work and family. If they choose a career, they are selfish b's who have no sense of what's important. If they choose family, they are simple housewives who aren't making a meaningful contribution to society. And woe be unto the woman who chooses both....

That is quite possibly the most ignorant answer I have ever read on this site, and that's saying something.

I completely agree with Rees!
I think you should show this answer to your mother......

I think mom would say, "I carried you for nine months and then birthed you! What was that part about men being stronger and working harder again?"
