Why do my underarms get a rash every time I shave them?

The razors are disposable and not rusty.

Most disposable razors aren't the sharpest thing on the block, and the inherent pulling and poor cutting ability of them is more akin to scraping the hair from your flesh with a butter knife. Buy a quality razor made for the purpose and you'll be ever more satisfied with the results. Also remember this, the area is tender, shave with a light touch, and not in a rush or in a heavy-handed fashion. :)

Probably it's anti-perspiration that's irritating your underarms after they've been shaved.

You probably are just reacting to the razor because you have sensitive skin. I would suggest trying a different razor, maybe ment for people with more sensitive skin.

It may be the type of shaving cream you're using. Try using the kind for sensitive skin and then put either lotion or baby powder on your armpits when you're done.

Try using shaving cream before hand, change your razor brand and I'd suggest putting lotion on them afterwards - avoid using deodorant straight afterwards <3

Try using shaving cream for sensitive skin. I have the same problem. It's most likely razor burn.

Use hair conditioner instead of soap. Don't press the razor so hard.

Always use new shaving blade and use shaving cream too.
